Intermediate Technique - A 1 hour lesson structured to enable those of you with a good basic technique to get more intensity from your walks

About us ....

Frances & Dave Stephens Nordic Walking Instructors

We qualified as Nordic Walking Instructors in 2008 and set up New Forest Nordic Walking shortly thereafter. We now have well established groups of regular walkers plus new walkers joining us every month. Between us we are able to provide walks for all abilities from those nervous and new to exercise to those keen to push themselves and improve their fitness levels.

Together we make a great team encouraging walkers of all abilities!!



We just wanted to say a big thank you to you both for teaching us the technique of Nordic Walking, and for inspiring us to join in with the many regular walks you hold - day and night! There are certainly many benefits to Nordic Walking - we both feel healthier, invigorated and happy to get out and see the lovely forest around us. Nikki is more relaxed, and I feel 20 years younger! You have a great group of walkers, which we enjoy talking to. We cannot imagine a better exercise and enjoyment interest, and a lot of this is down to you both. Since joining New Forest Nordic Walking I have noticed a huge change in my general health.  I now have so much more energy with a noticeable increase in my stamina.  I am physically stronger and my legs, thighs, waist and upper arms have definitely toned up too.  There are a variety of sessions to choose from so I can always fit in at least a couple of walks each week. Nordic Walking gets your heart pumping and your blood flowing and the walks combined with the beautiful  New Forest has made it easy for me to keep coming back for more. Frances and Dave are excellent Instructors and take a genuine interest in my progress and I would recommend anyone of any age to try it!
